A place called home

We are delighted to announce that we have secured two houses in Nicosia to provide independent and supported living services for young adults with Autism. The houses are next to each other and close to amenities. There is currently no such facility in Nicosia and there is an urgent need for such homes.

We plan to utilize our expertise in the autism field to help young people have independent lives and reach their fullest potential. The homes will be run by professional, trained and caring staff and will offer life skills and recreational activities for residents.

Civil societies around the world are taking note that the autism population is growing, moreover it is aging, and resources need to be put in place to assist these young adults live a life with independence and dignity.

We recognize that the needs of individual residents vary and the Group Home will have an individualized program for residents that includes: self-care, financial skills, residential life, hobbies, community relations, employment, and social skills.

Living in the group home means receiving individualized care that addresses our residents’ needs: a safe and welcoming home, healthcare, and a path to independence and emotional well-being. A safe, supportive environment, combined with professional and loving care, provides a healthy foundation for our residents so they embrace a place called Home.
